PARENTS, staff and FRIENDS
The staff, parents, volunteers and friends of the school help us set up a support system at home and in the school environment. Parents help with fundraising, skiing and horse programs, work projects at the school,
field trips and special classroom projects as their time allows.
Active participation facilitates the diverse, high-quality educational experience offered at Another Way School. Together, we can establish a supportive and nurturing community.

"My husband, Brian, made arrangements to have a friend of ours in Park City who has taught skiing go out and free-ski with London. I told our friend that London only skis wide track parallel and I didn’t want her to do “pizzas.” Basically, I asked him to ski with her, let her practice and keep her safe. When they got done yesterday, he told me “I don’t know who her instructor is, but she is one of the greatest 6 year-olds I’ve ever skied with. She had the best form and skill set I’ve have ever seen in a six year old.”
London learned to ski with Diane on the practice slope at Another Way School. She had only had one lesson with Diane at the resort before going out with our friend."

"I'm simply blown away with Another Way. My son is embracing every moment he is there and absorbing all the beautiful attributes of the staff. Learning, riding, skiing, caring and compassion and respect are just the tip of the iceberg of what he has already taken home in his giant brain. One month in a positive experience in every way imaginable. Thank you so much everyone at Another Way".

"The thing about this School is that it's just so completely different from anything else out there. It's the idyllic picture of a learning facility that we, as parents, only dream of having the opportunity for our children to attend. I mean, it's like if you could sit down and hand pick the character-filled buildings, the breathtaking outdoor spaces, the nurturing people and the cool stuff that everyone does all day, THIS is what you would pick. Then, to find out that it doesn't really cost any more than other schools who don't offer a fraction of the things they offer here is just amazing."

"I will be forever thankful for having the extraordinarily, amazing Diane Bode in our lives! The two years that my daughters were privileged to attend this very unique learning institution will forever have a positive influence on our lives. Diane’s brilliance and passion, her deep love and caring for each individual child resulted in our children maturing - knowing that they were indeed respected, honored and valued human beings. Another Way is unparalleled in what it has to offer our children. In addition to the superlative academic program, Diane offered horsemanship training, Panda ski training, frontier skills training, and art classes the likes of which I had only seen taught in upper grades or perhaps even college. Diane always knew just the right way to connect with each individual child which always resulted in the cultivation and magnification of each child’s unique capabilities. Thanks, Diane, for being there for my little family. You are forever in our hearts".

Observations from the IGS Program Director and MEPI board member, Teresa Noble:
"Teaching is a vocation. True teachers are born with talent and natural instinct to understand how to best present skills and information to students. The teachers at Another Way have this quality in abundance. In addition, they have the love and desire to nurture the spirits of the children. They understand that teaching is not all about academics but helping children become confident, productive, caring members of this planet. They treat children with respect and dignity.
The teachers at Another Way offer love and support and try their best to help the whole child - not just teach them academic skills (which they do well)."
