private equestrian skill lessons

Picture

Another Way offers private and semi-private equestrian lessons in both English and Western riding styles.

Lessons with our trainers are open to the public, not just for students at our school.

 Skills taught include:
  • Balanced & Centered Riding Position
  • Quiet, humane use of hands reining and control
  • Proper Leg Position
  • Grooming
  • How-to tack up a horse: Saddling and Bridling
  • Basic Riding Skills
  • Trail Safety
  • Horse Behavior: Predator and Prey

Learning sessions are academic-based along with plenty of hands-on and riding.

Riding time varies with age and focus of student and instruction is charged by the hour. Lessons are limited
to 2-4 students in the winter season and 5-6 in the
summer months.

Lessons can be scheduled ANY day, 6 days a week from 3:30pm to 6:00pm during the school year and from
9am to 6pm in the summer.

We teach children as young as 3 years old.  Virtually ANYONE can learn to ride as long as they are physically
and mentally able.
