year round mindful horsemanship

Picture
An indoor riding arena with classrooms above will provide for teacher training, community center classes, and a place to ride year round during the winter months. Another Way has been boarding the horses during the winter offsite and only bringing them to the school from June through October.

An indoor arena is the answer to several challenges with our program sustainability.
  • Year round Mindful Horsemanship lessons keep the student learning - not starting over every year.
  • Private lessons year round add to our income base.
  • Classroom space provides for income from teacher training programs.
  • Classroom space provides for community center classes, after school programs, and weekend intensives.
  • Keeping the horses on the property year round saves costs
We have a business plan for the arena, estimated costs to build and additional income streams that will help Another Way be sustainable. Investing in this infrastructure has been Diane's vision for many years and is necessary for the programs to move forward. The arena would stand to the west of the log house where the outdoor horse program is held.
